Welcome!

We are super excited to welcome all our nearest and dearest to celebrate our special day. It’s been a long time coming, but despite a few delays (due to COVID… and an unfortunately timed Ed Sheeran concert – don’t ask) we’re finally ready to tie the knot on:
10 June
at Techniquest
Cardiff Bay
This website should answer all your most burning questions, such as:
What should I wear?
What’s for dinner?
What the heck is a Techniquest?
If you’ve explored the site for a bit and you’re still unsure about anything, drop us an email at contact@joshutardwedding.com and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can!
See you soon!
Joe and Han
… and if you can’t be bothered to explore the whole website, we’ve got the FAQs below 😉
Doors are at 12 noon, ceremony is at about 12:45. Evening guests will be joining us from 6.30pm.
The whole day is taking place at Techniquest in Cardiff Bay. Read more about Techniquest here.
We went there loads as kids, and it means a lot to us. Plus, we’re going to be the first couples ever to get legally married there! And if you know us, you already knew it wasn’t going to be a stately home or a church…
Yes, so don’t worry about dressing for the Welsh weather! Though if it’s nice, we might take a few photos outside in Cardiff Bay.
There are nearby pay-and-display car parks on Stuart Street and Havannah Street, right next to the venue. If you don’t mind a bit more of a walk, Q-Park operates the Cardiff Bay car park in Pierhead Street, around 8 minutes from Techniquest. You can get a special 15% discount rate on all pre-bookings. Just follow this link and use the code TECHNI15.
We’ve got a lush Indian buffet for the main meal and a converted fire truck called Bella serving pizza in the evening.
Let us know on the RSVP or email us at contact@joshutardwedding.com and we’ll sort you out!
On the RSVP page here.
We’ve recommended a few options here, but there are lots of hotels and AirBnBs in Cardiff.
Yes!
The best gift is your presence, but you can make a contribution to our honeymoon if you like!
Absolutely! And please share them with the hashtag #joshutardwedding so we can all find them afterwards!
Yep – although we’ll make sure everyone gets a welcome drink and plenty of wine during dinner!
The area around Techniquest is residential, so the decibel level is a little restricted. But we also think it fits the theme.
We're thinking semi-formal (so smart, but not *super* smart) but keep in mind there’s an earthquake simulator and a slide, so you might want to wear something suitable for that!
Afraid not – we did check!
